Comments:
very vigorous grower; very large, toothy lime green leaves; large nodding blooms with creamy corollas, very long and twisted petal tips, tinting orange ocre in irregular spots in cool weather; powerful and distinct fragrance of green ginger, bubblegum, and thunderstorms; disease resistant, cold and wet tolerant, heat tolerant, pest resistant; easy to root. It can grow very well in poor soil or even slightly alkaline conditions; the original seedling, now a tree, thrives in the Potowatami Conservatory in South Bend, IN since it was donated there in 2008. The calcium level in that soil is very high.
