B. ‘Snow Cone’ is used interchangeably with the spelling B. ‘Snowcone’ and in two senses: B. ‘Snowcone’ (Smith 2002, USA) and B. ‘Snow Cone’ (Prowse 2005, Australia). Neither can be said to take priority on the basis of widespread use. Although the American usage antedates the Australian, the Australian name is established and in our opinion therefore has priority since, as far as we are aware, the American name has not been established. The Australian epithet was established as two words.
