Protecting Our Plants and Our Customers
Brugmansia Growers International has cultivated and registered our plant varieties over more than two decades. Our photographs, descriptions, and registered variety names are our intellectual property — and their unauthorized use isn’t just a copyright violation, it actively harms customers who trust these images to represent what they’re actually buying.
We have identified third-party sellers, including listings on eBay and other marketplaces, using our copyrighted images to advertise plants that are not the registered variety shown. This is deceptive to buyers and damaging to the integrity of the varieties we’ve spent years developing and registering.
If you are purchasing a Brugmansia variety online:
- Verify the seller is an authorized source. Our registered varieties are only guaranteed authentic when purchased directly through this site or our authorized retailers.
- Be cautious of listings using our photography with pricing, descriptions, or shipping claims that don’t match our own.
- Many of our registered varieties are subject to international shipping and phytosanitary restrictions and legally cannot be shipped to certain countries. Any listing offering international shipment of these restricted varieties should be treated as a red flag for mislabeling or misrepresentation.
Copyright & Trademark Enforcement
Unauthorized use of our photographs, images, or registered variety names is a violation of copyright and, where applicable, trademark law. We actively monitor for infringing use and pursue takedown requests and legal remedies against violating listings and sellers.
If you believe you’ve purchased a mislabeled or counterfeit plant represented using our images, please contact us so we can investigate.
