It may be late October but my Red Arbovulsa grown from Ludger Schneiders cross has bloomed again for the 2nd time.
It’s been a real joy to propagate see it flower, if only it was a joy to propagate

Remind us of its history, if you would. How old is this from seed?
The color is so strikingly Red ! 🙂

Certainly Alvin,
Original seed came from Ludgers giveaway of Aurea and hybrid coldies many years ago , although us UK group weren’t included in the coldies, some found there way to me via my buddies from the States.
From the seeds I grew out a red Arbovulsa of which I named Rioja after my wife’s favourite tipple. But this seedling took alot longer to grow and flower, and I was at a point that I’d nearly given up on it, and low and behold it flowers.
This is now the 2nd year and flowers twice a year, unfortunately it’s a horror to root, but I’ll keep trying.
It would be great to name her and get her out there to share.
