This is a flower from a cutting from William George x Joan’s Surprise, and it’s a six pointer which it making it a little floppy. Struggling for a name for my friend Terry who first grew this plant out last year.
Long time no talk! If you wanted to do a play on words with Terry’s name, you could use Butterry, Masterry, Glitterry, Mysterry. It’s all I got, lol. 😉
I’ve registered my cross of Joan’s Surprise x DS William George which turned out to have great twangers/tendrils and the colour of the corolla to go from yellow to gold.
The scent is pretty good too. have named it it after my long suffering, good friend Terry who first grew my seedling out.
The bloom below is just a day old from opening and developing its inner gold colouring.
